The House of the People of the Federal Parliament represents all the people of Somalia, and the legislative duties tasked solely to the House of the People of the Federal Parliament are as follows: (a) To participate in amending the Constitution in accordance with Chapter 15;; (b) To pass, amend or reject legislation tabled before it in accordance with this Chapter and Chapter 15 of the Constitution;; (c) To study laws passed by the Upper House of the Federal Parliament;; (d) To delegate to the Upper House of the Federal Parliament legislative duties, with the exception of its duty to participate in the procedures for amending the Constitution.
